- 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed, depends on how sweet you want it)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional, I didn’t put these in mine)
- 1 Tbsp. canela
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (4 oz. – 1 stick, room temperature)
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/3 cups bananas (mashed very ripe, about 3 large*)
- 3 Tbsp. buttermilk (or plain yogurt, I used the yogurt)
