    beautiful recipe I did change a couple things, substituted half the sugar for brown sugar and instead of buttermilk i used soured almond milk (1/2 c almond milk and 1tbsp of vinegar) and used a dairy free butter substitute. cake has a beautiful soft texture and amazing flavor, was very aromatic while cooking. will definitely make again.
