Wow, they were just as described in the recipe: light, fluffy, cake like, just like eating banana bread in a scone shape. I didn’t change anything at all about the recipe, except that I refrigerated the ingredients for several hours before baking. The batter was very cold, and it did indeed result in wonderfully substantial, puffed up scones. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

Beautiful! They are the best scones I've had! And since I didn't have bananas, I used apples but it was good!!
