- Cream sugar and shortening
- Add eggs, baking soda and buttermilk/sour cream
- Add bananas, nuts, salt and flour. Mix thorouhgly
- Pour batter into 2 greased loaf pans
- bake at 350* for 1 hour or until bread pulls away from pan
