- 1 large egg (lightly beaten)
- 1/3 cup buttermilk
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. coconut oil (melted and cooled, can also use melted butter)
- 2 Tbsp. non fat plain greek yogurt (can also use sour cream)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3/4 tsp. distilled white vinegar
- 1 tsp. red food coloring (depending on how red you want the donuts, I used ½ teaspoon of AmeriColor Super Red)

- 1/3 cup cream cheese (softened)
- 3 Tbsp. unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (or more depending on desired consistency)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3 Tbsp. heavy cream (or more depending on desired consistency)
