This is one of my favorite recipes for using ground turkey. Very tasty, not a lot of ingredients to deal with but it does take longer than the recipe stated. Having to cook the pasta separately always adds an extra time element as well as chopping onion, garlic and basil. But overall, worth the trouble. It does make a lot. I froze half of it which is nice for those nights where you don’t have any ambition to cook.

I used penne pasta instead of shells and came out great. I also put it in a casserole dish because is was so much. I will definitely make this again.
