- 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar (packed)
- 2 eggs (room temperature)
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract (I used Vain Mexican Vanilla Extracted in Cane Rum)
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. mace (ground)
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 cups flour (all-purpose)
- 1 1/4 cups quick cooking oats
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 cup milk (I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
- 2 Tbsp. butter (melted)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp. hot water
- 1 1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
- 4 oatmeal cookies (Homemade, or store bought, broken into pieces)
