I used a cheddar blend, added bacon, and added breadcrumbs which made it the perfect combo of flavor and texture.

I used almond milk and whole wheat flour. It overpowered the cheese. I'll make it again, and use regular milk and different flour.

Cheese did not combine well with noodles. Found it plain.

very cheesy but maybe still need some seasoning

It was not very cheesy tasting. I tasted flour more than cheese. I suggest putting more cheese than the recipe calls for. My 9 year old kid did not eat it.

it was a straight forward and easy to prepare mac and cheese. Next time i might forgo the baking. i really liked how creamy and smooth the cheese mixture turned out.

Turned out wonderfully. However, it didn't brown like it is shown in the photo. Still great nonetheless.

This is the perfect gooey Mac and cheese, just what I had in mind tonight. I used macaroni from Trader Joe’s that has larger openings and the sauce oozed inside. I also did a blend of cheeses, gruyere, ementhal, and cheddar, used white pepper with a dash of cayenne. Glad to have lunch leftovers for tomorrow.

I did make this and it's excellent. BUT - the next day, grab a skillet and slowly pan-fry the leftovers! You need NOT use butter, oil, etc.; there's enough in the recipe. Talk about fantastic! My grandfather was a miner and this was his favorite fried food!!! Make sure you use a non-stick skillet...

Good, but I used more pasta (equal parts pasta, milk and cheese). I cooked 1/2 cup onions in melted butter (add an extra Tablespoon butter). I added 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard. I cooked the pasta the full time stated on the package as it absorbs the sauce better. I used sharp cheddar in the sauce and equal parts Ritz and Parmesan for topping . 25 minutes was good for my oven; if it wasn’t brown enough, I would have put it under the broiler for a couple minutes.
