My only significant change was upping the amount of brown sugar from 1/4 cup to 3/4 cup. I also cut my potatoes a little thicker so it took about 1.5 hours vs. just 1.

Tripled the recipe for thanksgiving! It was delicious. I added nuts and mash mellows to the top on half

This recipe was great. It was somewhere between a vegetable side dish and a desert. I will definitely make it again. I omitted the clove, just not partial to it. I kept the skins on the yams and they were excellent.

Great, grand kids love these. I have to make this every time they come to visit

The dish turn out great. I cooked the yams at a higher temperature , 425, than the recipe called for. They would have to cook for a lot longer period of time at 350.

Listen my boo Rosie is the best! I’ve never had a bad outcome with any of her recipes. These yams are everything! Have a blessed holiday❤️

Oh yes, will do this one again. I've made candied yams with the same ingredients, the step I missed was to make a syrup first. Thank you!

Yummy! Next time I will cut it bigger as I made it smaller than recommended. The results were still delicious.

They turned out really good. Add a slight modification 3/4 cup of Captain Morgan Spiced Rum.

She is not kidding! This was the best we’ve ever had. It’s a perfect mix of each ingredient. You can taste hints of each of them. Perfection!

Amazing! I can describe how great these candied yams taste!! The aroma from mixing all the seasonings together is quite amazing. You have to try this recipe! I am definitely making this recipe again and again!

I have never changed my own recipe for 20 years. I was the one asked to always bring my sweet potatoes for every holiday. Well let me say i ventured out on my own looking for new ways for them and saw yours..........OMG!!!!! Everyone get this recipe!!!!! I wouldnt change a thing on it. I left my potatoes as halves and cooked 5 minutes longer. Very delicious!!!! we used the sauce over the turkey as well.
