Well, I am proud of my efforts. The recipe was perfect. Next time I will use thinner cuts of bacon and maybe cook @ 425 or leave in oven a bit longer @ 400!

I learned not to go the full 30 minutes as the asparagus was a bit overdone, but otherwise it was great. The glaze on the bacon; yummy!

Excellent recipe! Even the kids liked it. I found that after it’s all prepared and put in the frig a couple definitely enhances the flavor.

This was excellent! Next time I may cook it at 425. This would be a great recipe for the big fat asparagus spears. Mine were rather thin so they cooked a little more than I prefer. I’ll definitely be making this again.

It was so good! Used low sodium bacon and swapped garlic salt to garlic powder. Brown sugar is a game changer, recipe made a very fancy dinner.

Brushed with the sauce instead of putting it over asparagus. Great! Will make again.

We’ve made this before but spoken recipe the person we got it from added onion to theirs so we added some to ours along with this written recipe and it’s amazing!

AWESOME! This is the 2nd time I prepared this. It is prefered over all other ways that I fixed asparagus. It's the brown sugar mixture that makes all the difference in the flavor. It will become a staple side dish or snack for the family.

This side is a winner for every occasion. Holiday or every day dinner. I have tried this at 3 different family gatherings and it’s always a hit.

This was a perfect side for our BBQ, the family loved it. I used 3 tbsp of butter and brown sugar instead of cups and it was so delicious! Thank you for sharing this fabulous recipe with the Yummly community!!
