I use marinated mozzarella balls & omit the olive oil to drizzle. Delicious

Solid salad. I’m not much of a salad person, so you can imagine that my favourite part was the mozzarella balls 😅

I would definitely make this again, just with less basil due to personal preference. Seems like a weird combo of foods but it works!

This salad was perfect and easy. I served it with cornbread muffins and it made a complete meal.

It was sooo good. I did not add the olive oil. It's a wonderful summer dish, only needed bread and a glass of chilled dry white to make the meal.

really good and easy to make! i added chick peas and cucumber, which i know takes away from the "caprese" but it was still a good combo. also, the store i shop at didnt have mini mozzerella balls so i chopped up some mozzerella string cheese lol. a little dry but still worked. definitely will try to find the mini mozz balls next time i make it. but still a very light and flavorful meal.

I loved it! The only adjustments I made were that I used canola oil instead of evoo (thought I had some, but didnt): next time I will use evoo; also. I couldnt find fresh basil, so I used fresh mint. It was quite good! I thought with the strawberries, mint would work, & it did, very well.

This is really good and if you have a perfect avocado, this is a great way to use it that is different from the norm. Its best served plated, similar to the photo as the balsamic will make it look muddy if you mix it all together. Use a good balsamic. I had no mozzarella so i cubed a mild white cheddar and it was just wonderful. Do season with the pepper and salt as that really brings out the best in all the ingredients. I heeded the use of pepper and can say it really made it pop so don´t think pepper and strawberries don´t mix.

Perfect summer salad! You can't go wrong here. Simple but interesting combination of flavours. I prepared the strawberries, mozzarella balls and tomatoes (with oil, salt and pepper) a little ahead of time and refrigerated it. Then added the basil and avocado just before serving. One gentle toss and then the balsamic glaze drizzle. So yummy! Will definitely be making this one all summer.

I wouldn't change anything. Make sure you salt and pepper generously and use good quality, fresh produce and mozzarella! You can find balsamic glaze in the grocery store so that you don't have to reduce the balsamic yourself. It was a hit at the Memorial Day party!

It was delishious, but had a lol trouble with the balsamic vinigar. Knowing when it was thick enough to reduce heat!
