I stumbled upon this recipe via a vegan blog and set to modifying / jazzing it up. Everyone that tries it can't believe it's vegan. It's extremely rich and creamy.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 avocados (large ripe)
  • 1/2 cup dark cocoa powder (organic)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup agave nectar
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 blueberries (punnet of)
  • dates (Extra : feel free to add grated, for added sweetness)

    Directions

    1. I love this recipe because it's next to impossible to mess up. Slice up your avocados and put into a deep bowl.
    2. add other ingredients not in any particular order. If you don't want the blueberries to be blended, add them at the end after blending.
    3. blend ingredients with a hand whizzer or a food processor until very creamy and smooth.
    4. Place into ramekins or teacups for single servings. Put into the fridge for minimum of an hour, or for a more sorbet consistency into the freezer for a bit longer.
