- 3/4 cup cane sugar (I used Florida Crystals brand)
- 1/3 cup avocado (puree or very well-mashed avocado, room temperature, about one small avocado or 1/2 of a large avocado, puree preferred for the most precise measurement)
- 1/2 Tbsp. neutral oil (or substitute applesauce or additional avocado; I used sunflower seed oil)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. almond extract
- 1 cup spelt flour (or substitute all-purpose flour)
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips (I used Enjoy Life brand)
- 2 Tbsp. creamy peanut butter (natural)
- 1 nondairy milk (+ tb. plain, unsweetened)
