- 5 cloves garlic (fresh, not in a jar, dried, powdered, or frozen preferably grown in USA)
- Italian parsley (small bunch of fresh, finely chopped, my family likes to use parsley in sugo)
- 32 oz. chopped tomatoes (carton/jar of, or puree, like De Cecco, Mutti, or Bionaturae- I no longer like POMI since their quality dropped ultimately, fresh Roma tomatoes are best if you have them)
- 1 1/2 kosher salt (level tsp)
- 4 leaves fresh basil

Wow, delicious. I used fresh tomatoes and Italian parsley. Did not have fresh basil so used dry ones, still very good.

Wow! This is a keeper for my family! Quick, simple, and very tasty! I did add a splash of red wine to cook down in the sauce. Came out like my mother's recipe!

Perfect, it was a success at home. Super easy and quick, the only change I did was that I added wine to the recipe. I'll do it again!
