I halved this recipe for just my husband and me and it still made plenty. The only changes I made were using crushed pineapple, as I didn’t have chunks on hand, and I also added boiled shrimp. We both loved it and will make it again soon.

Very good. Wasn’t sure about pineapple but it really adds to the Mac salad. We served with Kailua Pork.

I left out the ham and pineapple and it tasted just like the Island Mac salad my favorite BBQ restaurant made before they shut down during the pandemic.

10/10! I let it chill overnight and ate it for dinner the next day and still had leftovers! I replaces the pineapple and onion with boiled eggs and ham, and it came out soooooo good! I defiently reccomend this recepie. Easy to follow and simply delicious

Loved this recipe! Really appreciate the explanation you gave on making the salad, it turned out great, all I’d say is a tiny bit more pepper (even if your using fresh ground). I added crab instead of ham, didn’t add the pineapple, used a smidgeon of green onion, it was great! Thank you so much!
