- 1 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 4 lb. rump roast (beef)
- 4 slices bacon (finely diced, optional, some variations include but most do not)
- 4 Tbsp. all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 3 oz. cookies (ginger snap, crumbled)
- 1 Tbsp. honey

This turned out really well. I had to substitute a nip of gin for the juniper berries because I couldn't find any. The gravy is delicious.
