This recipe was simple and easy to make. The directions were user-friendly and enhanced with some photos. What I appreciate most is the flexibility of this recipe (e.g. I modified this recipe by using one acorn squash, maybe 1/8 of an onion, 1/2 turkey sausage sliced into coins, Italian seasoning instead of thyme, and grated Parmesan cheese. Also, I left out the mushrooms and prunes due to personal preference and the meal was delightful!). Next time, I might try adding in roasted pecans. I highly recommend this filling meal for any time of the year and any skill-level chef!
