Not bad to do something different with asparagus if you want to mix things up

Easy summer salad. I served the salad with grilled pork chops for dinner and with sandwiches for lunch. Loved the asparagus basil flavors for summer!

We had family over and decided to make the salad. It was delicious and everyone loved it.

Pretty good, needs salt, make again.
Used one carton of tomatoes and one bunch of asparagus (reduce cooking time) - made plenty for 9 people

My avocado did not ripen soon enough, so I used a green bell pepper instead. I used tiny bit of parmesan cheese as well which really made it feel like a more filling dish. I thought it was so tasty, fresh, and springy and SUPER easy. Will definitely make again.
Update: I made the recipe exactly as written, and it was even better than I remembered. It even tasted good a few days later after sitting in the fridge.
