- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar

- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. onion powder (McCormick Gourmet™ Organic, California)
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper (McCormick Gourmet™ Organic, Coarse Ground)
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder (McCormick Gourmet™ Organic)

- 1 1/2 lb. boneless New York strip steak

Directions
- Mix all ingredients, except steak, in small bowl. Place steak in large resealable plastic bag or glass dish. Add marinade; turn to coat well
- Refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight for best flavor. Remove steak from marinade. Discard any remaining marinade
- Broil or grill over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes per side or until desired doneness
