- 2 Tbsp. fresh ginger (grated or finely chopped)

- broccoli florets (broken in smaller pieces, quantity preference)
- 2 carrots (peeled and julienned)
- 1 red bell pepper (deseeded and julienned)
- 8 oz. water chestnuts (can, 1 cup sliced, drained and rinsed well)
- 3 cups water (room temperature)
- 3 pkg. ramen noodles seasoning (packets discarded)
- 1/2 tsp. spice blend (Chinese 5, or a spice mix containing Anise, Cinnamon, Star Anise, Cloves, Ginger)
- 1 Tbsp. low sodium soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. green onions (thinly sliced in diagonal)
- red pepper flakes (to taste, for garnish, optional)
- sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)

Modified it just organic frozen vegetables, organic chicken bone broth and added organic chicken bullion. Everything else the same and tripled the recipe because needed to feed several people. Yum!
