  • 8 slices radish (white long mild east Asian)
  • 4 fish (boneless and skinless fillets or whole, I used cod but any delicate white fish you fancy would work well: tilapia, halibut)
  • 20 ginger
  • 1/4 cup dashi (http://justonecookbook.com/blog/how-to/how-to-make-, jiru/, alternatively if you are not gluten intolerant, add 1 teaspoon of store bought)
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 tablespoons tamari soy sauce
  • miso paste (gluten free - 1 tablespoon, Mame miso, or soybean based dark red colored miso)
  • sugar (or sugar alternative - 1 teaspoon)
  • garlic chives
  • spring onions
  • 4 pieces veggie (or cut in half lengthwise, choice)
  • rice (optional)
