  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 cup chicken broth (or water with 1 tbsp. bouillon)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts (cut into small pieces)
  • 1 green pepper (diced)
  • sesame seeds (or scallions)

    Directions

    1. Place the vinegar, soy sauce, honey, sugar, broth and onion into a pan on high heat until it begins to boil, lower heat to low.
    2. Add the raw chicken and pepper. Let cook on low heat. Cook, uncovered, for 15 minutes, allowing the chicken to cook and the sauce to thicken and reduce.
    3. Sprinkle with sesame and/or scallions and serve with Jasmine rice.
