- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce (I used reduced sodium)
- 1/4 tsp. dark soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. oyster sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp. rice wine (or dry sherry)
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- ground white pepper (freshly, to taste)
- 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
- 6 lettuce leaves (iceberg, rinsed, careful not to break)
- 2 Tbsp. scallions (diced)
- 4 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
- 1/2 tsp. chili sauce (I used Sriracha)
- 1 Tbsp. warm water

Made this for lunch and unfortunately the meet did not have much flavour. I found all of the flavour was added by the hoisin sauce.

had a strong taste, maybe i went a lil heavy on the sauce..I'll have to make it again.. but all in all it was good

Fantastic, did recipe as called for but almost doubled it and we still killed it without guilt. Great light dinner

Added a little garlic and ginger and red pepper flakes to the marinade
Very good also used bean sprouts and carrot matchsticks and romaine lettuce for additional crunch a total hit.

Very good! I made a double batch and had it for lunches. Didn't even need to add the hoisin sauce because it was so tasty but I did add it.

I have made this recipe and used the lettuce wrap and spinach tortillas. Kids like it too. Easy to make and great taste.
