ok so i don't think this is for beginners.. came out awful. maybe with some previous experience and knowledge of bread making i think it might have worked. idk. not trying again

For as simple as it is, the taste and presentation are really lacking. Has a gummy texture despite proofing for 12+ hours.

My bread came out perfectly! The texture is amazing I let my bread rise in the fridge for over 18 hours. I recommend adding olive oil and spices, but it amazing nonetheless!

While the recipe is easy, my bread hasn’t turned out quite right I feel. I’ve made it three times now and each time it’s come out a little dense and seemingly underdone (even when I add time to the bake). It could just be me not doing something right as I’m new to making bread.

It was sooooo easy to make with everything that I already had in my pantry. I will be making more.

Absolutely perfect. Followed recipe exactly. Let rise for about 18 hours as instructed.

24 hours of rising
delicious!

This dough behaves quite different from what I am used to. It turned out ‘okay’. If you are skilled at combining ingredients you will likely have better luck than me as the recipe is straightforward.

Super easy, and turned out great. Just need to remember to take my wedding ring off when handling the dough next time.

Could not measure such a small amount of yeast, so had 1/2 tsp. Still then it did not rise a lot. Will try again but leave out of fridge overnight

Came out great! Tastes really good. I make it with whole wheat flour and start thinking of adding nuts and grains.

this was so easy to make, tasted delicious perfect for toasting and using for a charcuterie board or a dip. also I live in an apartment with a very small oven and I don't have a mini Dutch oven so I put foil over top of a glass pan and it filled out with a little bit of water and then put a dish with water on the lower rack and it turned out perfect

This was super easy and just excellent. The recipe notes were very helpful because at points I wasn’t sure it would turn out either. The outcome is just an amazing loaf. This is a 5 star recipe but for some reason I can only highlight 4.

It was very good! The picture made it look a bit bigger than it actually was. I will be making it again!

I was starting to think I was terrible at making bread then I tried this recipe. This turned out amazing, I'm definitely making it again. The crust was crispy without being hard and the interior is so pillowy and soft. I baked this for 20 minutes exactly.

Excellent! I'm making this again this weekend because we gobbled the loaves down! Nom!

Not too bad for my first time making bread! I did add sugar to the mix, and I let it rise for 24 hours. I also took the water bath out after the 20 minutes because the crust was still soft. Three to five minutes extra with no steam helped it crisp right up. Will be making again with my own tweaks!

Made it with white bread flour and instead of just water I used half water, half milk came out super nice
