I first made this at Easter and it was so popular with my family they requested it again for Fourth of July. I used grilled artichokes for a little extra flavor and a lot less olive oil, only about 2 tablespoons. I also used ancho chili powder instead of plain chili powder.

This tapenade was great! I grilled bread to serve with the tapenade. Great flavors. I served this to guests and everyone loved it. I will do this again!

I really enjoyed this. It was a nice meat free holiday snack. Great on crostini.
