- 1 cup aquafaba (not reduced. I made mine fresh from white beans. Fresh is best. The can stuff works)
- 1/4 cup macadamia nuts (Macadamias are perfect for this recipe because they are mild in flavor, buttery and full of fat.)
- 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar (white sugar will work too)
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp. sea salt

It didn’t thicken much. It’s more of a caramel sauce. You can put it in pancakes or maybe on ice creams. Not in pies for example.
But I loved it! It tastes great!!!
