Perfect. I whisk my batter till it is really light and airy then add golden raisins and nuts. This has become a weekly bake in our house.

I made it for first time today. It’s a forgiving recipe. I didn’t realize the 1 cup powdered sugar was for frosting. I added it to the mix. I also only had cinnamon applesauce. Still didn’t ruin it. I had an angel food pan but not a Bundt pan. It wasn’t as attractive because of pan. I added the glaze. Cake wasn’t overly sweet. We’ve already eaten half today. It turned out great even with my mistakes.
