I'm not a fan of apple desserts, so I'm reviewing based on my personal tastebuds. The muffins taste a little tart, but still somewhat on the plain scale. The overall taste is a little bland. Perhaps it's the applesauce that I used (homemade from scratch) or that I didn't add any sliced apples. All in all, it's worth trying out though if you love apple-based desserts.
