Pretty good, first time adding carrots though. Made for a large gathering and it was almost all gone. The little bit I have left with be stuffing for a pork loin. You can freeze this too! Didn’t care for the look of the carrots, didn’t affect the taste just weird looking could have used more liquid. All in all good flavor and well received.

Really don't know if this would classify as the same receipe due to the cheater change I made in making it, BUT .... This stuffing was phenomenal! I made it for my clinic's Christmas Potluck Party. There were no leftovers! Due to buget constraints and almost last minute notice, I had to make some changes, but overall recipe was spot on. I had onions, carrots, and celery at home. Bought Sage sausage, chicken broth, Granny Smith, dried cranberries and (here's where I cheated) 2 boxes of Turkey stuffing mix (all under $10) I used the amount of chicken broth required on boxes of stuffing mix (3 cups total). And because of the seasoning in the stuffing mix, I only used 1/2 tsp of poultry seasoning when cooking sausage/veggie mix. Also, was quick and easy, used my mandolin slicer to chop veggies. It didn't take 55 minutes to cook sausage/veggie mix (carrots took the longest, just periodically tasted one until got to the consistency I needed) Bam! In the oven for 30 minutes, remove foil and in for another 5. From start to "OMG, this smells sooo good" done 1hr 45min!
