- 1 quick yeast (sachet)
- 30 grams vegan butter (2 Tbsp)
- 50 grams brown sugar (1/4 cup, lightly packed I used light muscovado sugar)
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 tsp. canela
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 175 mL unsweetened soy milk
- 1 apple (large, peeled and diced smallish)
- 1/4 cup flour (more, as well ~)
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 Tbsp. golden caster sugar (or regular sugar)
- 1 pinch canela (I used the end tip of a sharp knife to measure.)
- 50 grams icing sugar (1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp)
- 1/2 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 1 tsp. unsweetened soy milk
