Very easy to make and unique. Kids and adults like this if thy like cheddar and apples and who doesn’t like bread???

I’ve made this so many times in just one week. I made my own pastry dough each time, and used an applewood smoked cheddar. So quick and easy, and fresh cracked pepper added some balance to the whole thing.

Easy and delicious. I used several layers of filo for the bottom crust, layered ingredients in the middle, then topped with a few more filo layers. Also, I opted for a sweet variation using a sprinkle of brown sugar and cinnamon instead of chives, with honey drizzled over the top.

Had this with Sunday breakfast. Made a sweeter side for the kid by adding a bit of brown sugar to the sour cream and sprinkle of cinnamon on the apples. Delicious. The tart was better after the apples cooled.
