I’m not a fan of apple pie, except for this one. I actually crave this pie and have been making it for years. I always make it exactly as written, absolutely no need for cinnamon or anything else.

This is my go to Apple pie. I do mix sugar/ butter mixture into apples before adding to the pie crust. So, reviews added cinnamon. Maybe next time but really doesn’t need it in my opinion.

OMG I love this pie, more than that my boyfriend loves it and so do our neighbours. Its such a delicious recipe that I just make this pie every year. I'm baking 4 of these babies next week and I cannot wait!

Beautiful pie!! Messed it up the first time by not making the entire thing first then pouring the sauce in while hot, so don't do that. ;-) Also I cook it a little longer at the lower temperature the whole way through so as not to scorch the crust, though my oven runs pretty hot!
