This is good. I added brown sugar like it suggests in the directions. Too much nutmeg for me though. I’ve since made it my own. I bake the apples with cinnamon at 350. Then I also make a crumble to go on top. I used a little slab of butter, 1/4 cup of oats, a pinch of brown sugar, pinch of salt and a dash of cinnamon. Just cook with the apples until they’re to your preference (soft enough, crunchy enough), make the oatmeal and put it together. I’ve had this 4 times in a row. So dang good!

If you like low sugar this is a good recipe. However, I prefer a sweeter oatmeal so If you are like me I would recommend adding some sugar or brown sugar.
