Description
A delicious healthy whole grain sweet bread recipe that is packed with bananas, apples, raisins, nuts and spices. Your banana bread just got better.

- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. canela
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/8 tsp. kosher salt (pinch)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 egg whites
- 2 bananas (mashed)
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1 cup apple (grated)
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup pecans (coarsely chopped)

Directions
- Preheat oven 350 degrees F. Coat bread pan with canola or vegetable oil
- In a large bowl, combine mashed bananas, applesauce, brown sugar, maple syrup, vanilla, egg whites and spices.
- In a medium bowl, combine flours, baking powder and baking soda. Whisk together. Add raisins and pecans and toss to coat.
- Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
- Pour into prepared bread pan. Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes.
