These were delicious, but they reminded me more of muffins than cupcakes. Sort of like banana bread or carrot cake (but apple flavored, of course). The icing was sweet and made them more like cake, but they also tasted delicious without icing.

Overall I really loved the recipe (this was my first time successfully making a frosting that holds!!! ^_^) My only issue is that the frosting comes out SUPER SWEET, and I love sweet so that's saying something. I'm not a very good/confident in my skills baker, so im reluctant to mess with the proportions so if anyone fixes this, pls tell me. Tks!
