OK so I'm not rating this recipe per se. This recipe was a good guide for me to create my own apple spice cookies that fit with my eating style. (THM). I'm sure as made these are tasty but here's how I modified them. By the way THM is NOT low fat but the E meals within the plan are.
Oatmeal Apple Spice Cookies (1/2 batch)
1 1/2 apples, grated with excess liquid rung out
1/2 c. oats, ground into flour
3/4 c. oats pulsed (just enough to break up)
1 1/2 tbsp Pyure (or truvia)
3 tbsp egg whites
1 1/2 tbsp apple sauce
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp clove
mix grated apple into oat flour, pulsed oats, spices, and sweetener. Add egg whites and apple sauce until the dough comes together. Form about 14 balls of cookies with a cookie scoop. flatten balls (they will be a little sticky) on a parchement lined or oil sprayed cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 20 min.
