This is crazy delicious- I mean, at 600 calories per piece, it better be! Just make sure your butter/sugar/apple mixture carmelizes before you put the batter on top & bake (because it doesn't get any browner in the oven). The recipe doesn't really say how long that will take-and it takes a while- but that is where the magic is😋
