I was afraid the flavor was going to be mild and tasteless since only one cup of burgundy was used but I was wrong. The taste is legit and I surprised myself by my ability to cook up such a delicious dish. The beef didn’t turn out as tender as I had wanted it but it wasn’t too firm to where we needed to use steak knives. I will definitely be following this recipe again

I had to use red cooking wine (sorry Anthony) but followed rest of recipe using beef shoulder. Sooo good!!! Beef was tender and flavorful. made this in memory of Anthony Bourdain - a good man and a great chef
