- 1 bunch fresh basil (coarsely chopped)

- 1 lb. asparagus (thin, trimmed and cut into 1 1/2-inch lengths)
- 1 1/2 cups peas (frozen petite)
- 1 tomato sauce (recipe red pepper, above)
- 1 yellow bell pepper (large peeled, cut into 1/4-inch-wide strips)
- 1 lb. angel hair pasta (dried)
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley (finely, we used Italian flat-leaf)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (freshly)
