- Soak the rice in water overnight. Drain.
- Place the rice in a pan along with the milk and cinnamon stick and cook for 45 minutes, stirring every so often. Add the honey and continue to cook for 20 minutes, stirring every so often.
- Once the rice is cooked and creamy, taste it, adding more sweetener if necessary. Remove from the pan and place into a bowl, then cover and let cool.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and drizzle with melted butter before serving.
