I've made this recipe three times this week. The pancakes are very fluffy but I don't include as salt as in the recipe, maybe only a pinch or two

I made this for my boyfriend and I because we had chocolate chips and icing that we wanted to use up. The batter is too thin so they do not cook right and the pancakes were completely flat.
