- 2 lb. ground round (lean, or well-trimmed chuck)
- 6 oz. tomato paste
- 1 jar pizza sauce (about 14 oz., Note: You can also use plain tomato sauce, but I usually have an extra jar on hand and it already has seasonings in it. See notes.)
- 1 Tbsp. fresh basil (minced, or 1 tsp. dried)
- 1 Tbsp. fresh oregano (minced, or 1 tsp. dried)

I got halfway through this recipe and realized it said 2 pounds not 1. Mom fail, i know but this work turned out SOOO GOOD. The only thing i would do different is to sautee shine mushrooms and onions with the beef and boiling the noodles for only a few mins instead of the close to full cooking time. They were almost mushy.
