- 3 anjou pears (or unpeeled, firm Bosc, quartered, cored)
- 2 Tbsp. butter (room temperature)
- 1 Tbsp. all purpose flour (substitute cornstarch for gluten-free option)
- 2 cups low salt chicken broth
- 3 cloves garlic (smashed and diced)
- 1 1/4 cups pear nectar
