- 4 oz. granulated sugar (+ 1/4 cup set aside for finishing)
- 3 egg whites (+ 1 egg white set aside for finishing, I actually needed 2 egg whites for finishing, so set out a 5th egg just in case)
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6 oz. sliced almonds (preferably with skins still on)
- sprinkles (Holly, optional, available through various sources)
