Description

This lovely tart is made by first cooking the crust until light golden and starting to set in the center, which will prevent it from getting too soggy once the filling is added. The dough comes together quickly and is made with just flour, sugar, margarine, and egg. Docking it with a fork once it's in the pan will make sure it holds its shape and doesn't puff up during baking. The filling is simply sliced almonds, margarine, sugar, and milk that's cooked to a cream.
