Very yummy! But I modified these slightly . . .
I used 1.5 cups blanched almond flour instead of any regular flour (to avoid the gluten).
I added about a tablespoon of lemon juice along with the zest.
I used 1.5 tsp baking powder (because almond flour is heavier than regular flour).
They turned out very tasty!
Next time I might make a tart lemon glaze for the top, and/or reduce the sugar a little as it was a but sweet for my taste.
