Turned out really great. My kids were a little tentative about trying it. Once they did, they came back for extra helpings.

Incredible!!! Whole family loved it and my 2.5 year old loves helping to stuff the leaves! I make my own tomato sauce to go with it instead of using tomato juice

I have had better the rice was not cooked after simmering 45min. I'm going to stick with my mothers recipe.

Similar to my recipe, but I ALWAYS use HAM .. better flavor .!!!!!! I've used ground beef, but just does not do it justice .. prefer ham .. perhaps my taste buds are different from yours ..

I have made cabbage rolls (Galuskas) for the major portion of my adult life, being of German/Austrian heritage. Our recipe differs from this one by using regular cabbage, a ground meat mixture, bacon, rice, catsup and onion only. I never make less than a large roaster full at a time since they taste even better after a day or two and they freeze beautifully.
