The flavor was fine, but the recipe calls for 3 minutes per side for 3/4 - 1” thick pieces for Medium Rare. I did 2 minutes per side just to be safe….. I wasn’t! It was medium well to well. Again, spices are good, on high heat, to sear, I would go with 45 seconds to 1 minute per side. Oh, this was fresh when purchased, and I vacuume sealed my with my professional chamber vacuum sealer.

It was okay, but I would have liked it better more rare. I think 1 minute on each side would have been better. I made a soy sauce, sesame oil , sriracha, and rice vinegar sauce for the fish which was a big hit!

Great. Easy $ a nice alternative to sesame coated grilled or sautéed tuna. The only place I misstepped was by not drying the steaks before putting them in the hot oil.

It was very easy to make & the instructions for not overcooking were spot on. Very tasty.

Excellent! This was my 2nd time using this recipe. It’s just too easy for something that tastes so delicious. Served with fresh green beans cooked with small Yukon gold potatoes and kidney bean salad. Perfect!
