Made it almost the same as Caleb’s review since I didn’t have the exact ingredients— I used tomato sauce and ground cumin and I didn’t have coriander so I substituted that with some curry powder and I also added some red chili powder for more spice while it was simmering and it turned out wonderful! Served it on top of long-grain white rice since I don’t have basmati and my family still loved it and some even came back for seconds (: overall my rate on flavor palette I give this an 8/10 pretty great <3

Enjoyed this a lot. Simple but with good flavor. I served it over rice with garlic spinach.

I made this using ground, dried cumin and corriander powder (instead of starting from whole seed). Didn't have whole tomatoes, so just added equivalent amount of tomato sauce after sauteing onion/garlic/herbs. It came together quickly, with affordable ingredients and was very flavorful! Served over roasted sweet potatoes with avocado for a grain free and meat free meal.

I just wish I could’ve gotten the seeds crushed, they were very evident, but it was still very good. I subbed chicken broth since I didn’t have vegetable and it tasted great!

The boyfriend made this and it definitely hit the spot. It’s dense and filling. Nice flavors. Looking forward to tomorrow when the flavors marry more

This recipe was incredibly easy to make. However, it was a little bland. I added a few serrano peppers to the mix (after the fact.) Plan on keeping this recipe on hand for when I'm cooking for vegan friends. Adding peppers after the fact can allow people to adjust the heat to their own tastes.
