The garlic Confit can be used for many things !! it goes really well with meat, fish and roasted vegetables, on everything ! :) just mash it on the bread..Amazing . **Actually, everything that goes good with garlic will go great with garlic confit. You can store it in the fridge for a couple of months. garlic is the natural antibiotic, the olive oil and the garlic keeps their nutritional value .
Ingredients
- garlic cloves (a lot of, a lot! About 20-30)
- 1 cup olive oil
- fresh thyme (it is optional)
- seeds (paper)
Directions
- Put everything in the medium saucepan.
- Turn on your stove to the lowest heat, for one hour.
- The oil will slowly cook the garlic cloves (not fry them) and they'll become sweet, soft and delicious. the oil will get the garlicky aroma and a great taste.
